Because of the number of scripts we have
received, Theatre Out will respond to your script
only if we are interested in pursuing it for possible
production or we have questions. However, you
may use this website to track the status of your
script to the left.
We respect your privacy and your work,
therefore, your name, script and status have
been coded as such: TW-COAHTR-1-9/29/06
The first two letters are the playwright's initials. In
the case of multiple playwrights or musicals, only
one set of initials is listed. The next series of
letters are the first letters of the script's title. The
number indicates the status of the script followed
by the date of the status. In the example above,
Tennessee Williams has submitted "Cat on a Hot
Tin Roof" for consideration and it was received
on September 29, 2006.
Status Codes
1 - Script has been received and is ready to be reviewed by a
member of the board.
2 - Your script is currently being read by a member of the board.
3 - Your script is receiving a second reading by the entire board.
Status Codes - Continued
4 - Unfortunately, we are unable to produce your work at this time. We
will keep your script on file.
5 - We are interested in producing your script. We will be contacting
you shortly.
